Buhari, Nigeria and the Nigerians of today.

By Ganiyu Ayanniyi M. Nigeria is regarded as one of the Africa great nations which is expected to lead other fellow African and non African countries by examples. But, is the nation showing her great resourceful prowess by leading herself and other nations ? That is what many people ask "Where does the greatness of Nigeria now lies ?" REFLECTION: a limitless journey Here comes a day Yeah, the one one can't say Who knows how it's going to be ? Hmm, sightless as none could ever see. Seen is the picture of the unknown. Hmm, a trip to the unknown clown. And, if it was to be a 'yes' scene. Prefer a teen with or less nineteen. Thought to the right, But still meditating on a night. Yeah, when everything will be no more. Nonsense, hate it to the core. Stay there lifeless, All of all is meaningless. Stay bright, Your life is more than something light. Why can't you think without destinations? Maybe like that you can detect a solution... Just there being people's toy Well, is that a success ploy ? What is all this being typed ? Nothing, but a limitless reflexion. Why letting you being hyped ? Life continues after one's ascension! By: G.A.M. New story: ESCAPE ROUTE

By Wínlàdé Their friendship with the corridor of power is the curse that drives us towards the escape route, which leads to any land behind the ocean.  -WOBB In our place, we heard the story of how our forefathers fell in love with Westerners and adopted their faith and education. The epic narration of how they fought the fight of faith and brought down the altar of Babel at the expense of sojourning in the heart of the forest far away from the sight of their fathers and relatives’ wrath remains the pride of those who have acknowledged the call of God over their life. We grew up with a sense of belonging to education. In our schools with perforated roof and doorless entrance, we exuded pride in the euphoria of the world of intellectualism our scholarly fathers’ exploits painted in our memory. The tale of how professor Lapade and emeritus professor Gbenro played football with Barrister Akinwumi on the pitch in the compound of Baptist Primary School in the year 1935 was  o...

WHEN WILL IT BE OUR TURN?

Image
When will it be our turn now? Yea, make it as they do say now. Let the turn turn to us, To bring all for us as horse. When will it be our turn sir? You want them to die with it sir? Let not the race of success turn to war, Yeah, don't let them abuse it as whore. When will it be our turn to lead? Yea! If the youngest ones can outshine even with beads. Hmm, how will one overlook that? When they are always neat with their hats. When will it be our turn ma? Stop! Not requested! The caress of shoulder. Man, do as asked your precious Ma! Share love without a touch on a paining shoulder. When will it be our turn to takeover? With the aim of not quickly seeing a game over. Yes, the focus mustn't be on Stones, If really planned to be on thrones. When will it be our turn of no hate? Too long, we continue to anticipate. Let the turns turn right! To us, turn not to fight. Let them turn right!

Balancism

BALANCISM From morning till evening, Always, exists a sign of being blind. From yesterday to tomorrow, There will always be a sign to arrow. Yeah, to put our antagonists to sorrow As the air blows without hate, It disburses timely breathe with good fate No one complains for the air given; Even, when they dilute it with the forbidden. Just as the sun in daylight It shines to bring all things bright Foods grow without complaints Even, when the sun is not eulogized with paints Like the moon and stars At night, everyone shines beyond the bars With the cool breeze, Everyone rests not to freeze Like the water rushing from the valley None is seen to come in Demi They rush without pay to fetch its infants Who cares for the sources if not biting as ants? Like God, the Almighty ! Everyone believes to be mighty. He that creates Male and Female Many still see Him as weight, Whenever He brings a plus or minus. Well, the balancist, I am! My theory is balancism! No...

They make me think but I'm not forthcoming I feel like doing we-die-there thing In public, that is not proper for a sane being When I see your curvy tricks I pray not to fall into your tricks But, my prick think of sleeping in thy trick In that, each other, we will click Your love, I shall never bargain For that, I hope to see more gain For you being my main; You will never suffer with pain! I always appreciate, your thought! You, never treated as a bought To have you, I f...
