Some got abdicated as the case of Edit Edward VIII, later Prince Edward, Duke of Windsor. But, what is the case of Queen Elizabeth II ? The Queen Elizabeth II of UK was born in 21 April 1926 by King George VI of UK and queen Elizabeth Bowes-Lyo. Queen Elizabeth II is the eldest daughter of her parents who only had two daughters. Her younger sister is named Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon. She is married to Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh (a Prince from Greek descent). After the death of her father, she started reigning as the queen of UK from 6 February 1952 till date but was coronated in 2 June 1953, since, she was the eldest daughter and with an absence of a male child.
